Upright monuments are crafted for one or more people, are usually larger than most markers and slants and can be made with any granite or marble. You might want a standard upright with names, dates and corner carvings or something totally designed by us or you that is unique.
Slant monuments are a nice alternative to upright monuments. Slants usually are 10” or 12” at the bottom and bevel towards the top. Not all slants have to be on a base some sit on the ground. Slants are traditionally for 1-3 people due to their size and can be made out of any granite material, slants can be made more traditionally or crafted in the shape of hearts, crosses with just about any carvings imaginable.
Bevel markers also know as pillow markers or hickeys are very simple markers. They most commonly have a 2 inch drop from the back to the front. Bevel markers can be made out of any granite material or color available. They are much easier to read than a grass marker due to the way they sit on top of the ground.
Flat markers are the simplest and most affordable markers available. Flat markers sometimes referred to flush markers or grass markers can be made out of both granite or bronze or a combination of both. In some circumstances cemeteries or sections in a cemetery require the marker to be a flush. Most flat markers are either for 1,2, or 3 people and can be made out of just about any granite material and color.
